Account Issue
1. I forget my username and password.
Please access http://www.aimoo.com/login/Forgotpassword.html and follow instructions. You need to enter your email address that we have on files for your Aimoo account, and then we will email your login info to that address.
2. How do I change my password?
First log into your Aimoo account, and then get into My Control Panel >Profile>Modify Password
3. How do I set my profile to private?
First log into your Aimoo account, and then get into My Control Panel >Profile>Edit profile, and simply select Profile Visibility to No One.
4. How do I change my login email address?
Please first make sure that you have logged into your Aimoo account, and then access My Control Panel >Profile>Edit profile.
5. How do I change my avatar?
Start by making sure that your have logged into your Aimoo account, then access My Control Panel >Profile>Edit profile >change my avatar.
6. Can I have more than one account?
You can register more than one account as you like
7. How can I add images or links to my signature?

Community Issue
1. I was a user on version 7, but I cannot find the forums which I viewed before the changeover.
The URL for many forums may have changed. You may search the forum with the link http://www.aimoo.com/community/Community_search.html by community name, owner, keyword and category
2. How many communities can I own on Aimoo ?
Each member can create 3 communities on Aimoo message board.
3. How can I get the community Domain like http://domain.aimoo.com ?
There are two kinds of Domains available for Aimoo boards. One is http:forum1.aimoo.com/domain or forum2.aimoo.com/domain, the other one is http://domain.aimoo.com. The later one is more memorable.
Start by making sure that you logged into your Aimoo account, and then access My control panel >Community >Community setting>Community Info, and you can see “Click here to mod your community web address”
4. How do I find forums I am interested in?
Please access the URL http://www.aimoo.com/community/Community_search.html
5. I want to become a member of one community, what should I do?
First log into the community, and then you may see “Join This Community” on the top right corner of the community front page, click on it.
6. I have already clicked on “Join this community”, but I am still not the member.
If the owner/admin of the community have set “message activation when new members joining the community”, you have to wait for the owner/admin’s approval.
7. How can I add images to my post?

For Community Owner/Admin
1. How do I block anonymous users?
Start by logging into your Aimoo account, and then access My Control Panel >Community >Community setting >Preferences, just forward to NO.20: Anonymous users’ privilege.
2. How do I create new categories or sub-categories?
Make sure that you have logged into your Aimoo account, and then access My Control Panel >Community>Community Setting >category to add new categories or sub-categories as you like.
3. I have created a forum but there’s no button to post a new topic.
The reason why you cannot find any where to post topics is probably that you may not created any sub-category in your category. Please get to your control panel > community setting > category > add sub-category.
4. Can I hide categories?
Yes, if you don’t want some categories open to the public, just access My Control Panel >Community>Security>Users Access Type to set the access privilege.
5. Can I move a sub-category to another category?
Sure, after logging into your account, you may access My Control Panel>Community>Community Setting>Category to move.
6. I want to adjust the community width, where can I set?
After you logged into your account, and then access My Control Panel>Community>Skins, and choose the community skin you want to edit, just click on “Edit”>Community Width.
7. I don’t want anonymous users go to the chat room in my forum.
We offer the feature for owner/admin to set the privileges to forum chat room under the section: control panel > community setting > preference > 4. Members’ chat privilege.
8. I edited my skins, but there is no changes happened to my community?
Please make sure that the skin you chose has been applied. You may go to the skin you applied in your community and then edit it. If nothing happens, please feel free to contact us.
9. Why there does not have enough space for the posts when choosing bigger font size?
Start by logging into your Aimoo account, and then access My left-hand ControlPanel >Skins > My skins > edit > 2. topic and reply, and then change “Topic Content Font Line Height” and “Reply Content Font Line Height” to larger than 20px.
10. I don't know how to make my member a moderator.
First login to your Aimoo account, then access your left-hand control panel > manage community > members > manage members, tick a member or several members, select the user title (a drop-down box at the bottom of the page) as Moderator, click on “Submit” button to confirm. After that, get to the moderator section to set the exact category and privileges for the moderator.
11. I don't want a member to access my forum any more, is there any possibility to do that?
Yes, you may ban the member in your left-hand control panel > manage community > security > banning, insert one of the three options including username, email and IP address and then the members cannot enter your forum any more.
